Transceivers
ACST designs and delivers transceiver systems with outstanding transmitted power levels across the THz spectrum. These solutions are engineered to support high-performance test and measurement platforms, radar systems, and spectroscopy setups where both low noise and strong signal output are critical. The current offerings include transceivers operating from 275 to 315 GHz and 310 to 340 GHz, with up to 16 dBm transmitted power and noise figures under 10 dB. Their IF output bandwidths span DC to 18 GHz, providing excellent flexibility for integration into customer systems.
300 GHz Transceiver
The 300 GHz model (1310A) offers a high-power solution tailored for applications where narrower bandwidth is acceptable in exchange for enhanced signal output. Designed to support dynamic range in challenging environments, this system maintains reliable signal-to-noise performance when mm-wave absorption becomes a limiting factor. It’s well-suited for swept source or CW operation with IF outputs adaptable to various signal analysis schemes.
340 GHz Transceiver
The 340 GHz variant (1310B) prioritizes broadband operation, supporting IF outputs up to 40 GHz and maintaining stable transmission and reception across a wider frequency span. This unit is especially effective in systems where bandwidth flexibility and integration into complex modulation schemes are needed, such as high-resolution FMCW radar and THz imaging.
