Frequency Doublers
ACST offers a set of frequency doublers for high power and wide band applications based on our high power Schottky varactor-diodes technology.
Frequency doublers are an efficient option to increase the frequency of a source beyond W-band while maintaining the power level required for a wide range of applications. These modules are designed for system integration in applications ranging from radar to high-speed communications.
High Efficiency Doublers
ACST’s high power doublers are able to handle the output of most E-band and W-band amplifiers available in the market. They offer up to 40% efficiency and 180 mW output at 170 GHz, and up to 30% efficiency and 40 mW at 340 GHz — all without using power-combining techniques. Power combining can be used to increase output further, by factors of two to four.

BROADBAND DOUBLERS
ACST’s full-band doublers use high power Schottky diode technology to overcome power handling limitations at higher frequencies. They are designed to support any full E-band and W-band amplifier, pushing the performance envelope for full-band source applications.
