General Specifications

VivaTech THz Noise Figure Downconverters are designed to extend calibrated noise figure and gain measurements into millimeter wave frequency bands. The THZBDC-XXFBE series covers 40 to 170 GHz across standard waveguide bands and is intended for use with compatible noise figure meters and spectrum analyzers.

These downconverter systems support swept frequency measurements and are supplied with a compatible solid-state noise source. Typical system characteristics include 30 dB overall gain, 10 to 15 dB typical noise figure, SMA-F LO/IF connectors, 10 MHz to 3 GHz IF output, and +12 V DC power operation.
