Description

OPTOKON HMA patchcords provide high-reliability fiber connectivity for tactical networks and harsh environments using expanded beam technology. The HMA design enables quick deployment, resistance to contamination, and eliminates gendered connector configurations with a hermaphroditic interface.

Cables are available in both military tactical and hybrid configurations (e.g., HMA to ST/SC/LC). The system supports 1 to 8 fiber channels in either Singlemode or Multimode. HMA connectors are sealed, vibration-resistant, and field-repairable — making them ideal for military communications, industrial, broadcast, or petrochemical applications.

Options include plug-to-plug or plug-to-standard connector builds, armored or flexible cable types, and various fiber grades (OM1, OM2–5, G.652D, G.657A1).
