Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) Frequency Extenders

ACST offers frequency extender modules for VNAs that push the boundaries of conventional network analysis by extending measurements into the millimeter-wave and sub-THz range. These broadband transceivers are designed to work seamlessly with leading VNA platforms, enabling full S-parameter characterization (S11, S21, S12, S22) as well as more economical scalar setups.

ACST’s VNA extenders include transmission and reflection paths and provide reference signal outputs for advanced analysis. They are well-suited for high-frequency applications where accurate amplitude and phase measurements are required. Scalar-only configurations are also available for customers focused on simpler measurements such as insertion loss.

A variety of calibration kits—including precision loads, shorts, and λ/4 shims—are available for each supported waveguide band. These are provided individually or in matched kits with s-parameter data.
